Description

The ConvertIP DSH Transmitter and Receiver from Matrox is a compact ST 2110 and IPMX device that transports HD and UHD footage with a unique IP video gateway feature. Its HDMI input and output capabilities feature a zero latency HDMI loop-out that transport compressed and uncompressed workflows of audio, video, and metadata up to 25GB. With the capacity to support multiple SFP28 and RJ45 networks and its daisy chaining capabilities, the ConvertIP drives multiple displays using a single network to ensure uninterrupted work. The device’s ultralow latency provides consistency in quality and workflow with minimal delay. The device features a fan-free design that keeps it cool quietly, and its slim design can easily be mounted to the back of monitors for discrete storage.

Transport Format Compatibility
The ConvertIP supports several media transport formats that offer high-quality transmission, including uncompressed HD and UHD support, optional JPEG XS coded license support up 2 Gb/s, IPMX, and ProAV Colibri codec transmissions that are adjustable up to 6 Gb/s. The device’s glass to glass latencies are ideal for both compressed and uncompressed workflows.
Multi-Network Capabilities
Support multiple networks at once. The ConvertIP supports up to two SFP28 and one RJ45 networks. SFP28 offers 10G and 25G network support options for media and control, and the RJ45 includes 1G network support for independent control networks.
Daisy Chaining Features
With daisy chaining capabilities, the ConvertIP enables the reception and output of multiple displays or streams from a single network port to centralize workflow. These features boost monitoring capacity and create monitor walls with 2, 8, and 16 displays. This technology ensures uninterrupted operation in case of network problems and can localize the impact of a single device failure with its ST 2022-7 redundancy.
