UltraStudio HD Mini features professional broadcast quality connections that include 3G-SDI, analog YUV and composite NTSC/PAL video inputs, along with a reference input. There are also two ¼” audio connections for analog audio input that work with balanced and HiFi sources. In addition, UltraStudio HD Mini can remote control professional broadcast decks using the built in RS-422 connection. For output, you get dual link 3G-SDI with fill and key, and an HDMI connection for monitoring video with a big screen television.

With Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, the UltraStudio HD Mini supports the transmission of SD and HD video up to 1080p at 60 fps, featuring up to 16 channels of embedded audio. Dual SDI outputs are available for fill and key, along with an HDMI output for monitoring on consumer displays. Additionally, its RS-422 port enables professional broadcast deck interfacing, offering flexibility for various production environments.

Control Options: Front-panel DIP switches or the RS-422 deck control port can be used for software control. For additional functionality, the optional Teranex Mini Smart Panel can be installed, providing hands-on control and real-time monitoring.
Advanced Processing: The UltraStudio HD Mini includes hardware-based color space conversion and real-time 10-bit down conversion for SDI B output, Composite, and S-Video during HD playback. Users can select between letterbox, anamorphic 16:9, or center cut 4:3 down-conversion styles.
Thunderbolt 3 Power: The device is powered directly via Thunderbolt 3, eliminating the need for an external power supply, ensuring streamlined and portable operation.
