At the heart of the VX5 is the iconic AutoTune® algorithm, used and popularized by some of the most important and beloved artists of our time.

Offering far more than pitch correction, this vital piece of production software has molded and redefined what it means to be a vocalist in the modern age. By fine-tuning the Humanize and Retune Speed knobs, you can dial in a variety of different vocal textures—from subtle pitch correction to the bold, defining vocal styles of artists like Charli XCX, Travis Scott, or Post Malone, the VX5 can do it all.*

All-Purpose Vocal Processing

The VX5 comes equipped with a staggering library of studio-quality presets that can be layered and sequenced in any configuration. For a lush sonic backdrop, pull up one of the Ambient or Church reverb presets. To take things in a more psychedelic, far-out direction, let your imagination run wild with one of the many different chorus or delay modelers.

For a fuller sound in any live set, the VX5 is also equipped with an intelligent Harmony feature capable of generating vocal harmonies based on chords from a connected guitar or keyboard.

Quality Vocal Processing Made Simple

While the technology and processing power housed within this vocal effects unit is as sophisticated as it gets, the HeadRush VX5 was designed with ease of use at the forefront. A clean and clearly labeled set of controls and color display makes dialing in the perfect vocal tone a breeze. Two footswitches allow for quick and easy preset navigation, which can be crucial in a live setting—as well as a temporary bypass for talking between songs and A/B settings inside each preset to seamlessly change up your sound mid-song. You can also automate preset changes using a playback rig with MIDI via USB.

Boundless Connectivity, Endless Possibilities

In addition to being a stage-ready vocal effects processor, the VX5 can also be used as a USB audio interface. Easily connect the device to your computer via the USB-B connector on the unit's rear panel and assign the VX5 as your audio interface in your DAW of choice. Once everything is all hooked up and ready to go, just hit record and let your creativity run wild.
