The ATEM SDI by Blackmagic Design is a compact, multi-camera live-streaming switcher designed for internet or broadcast applications. Ideal for gaming consoles, corporate streams, or HD camera setups, it features four SDI inputs, each capable of handling up to 1080p60 video. The device offers two 3G-SDI outputs for projectors or external monitors, a USB-C output for 1080p60 streaming to computers, and an RJ45 Ethernet port for system management, remote control, and updates.
The integrated control panel provides backlit, easy-to-use buttons for selecting camera inputs, controlling transitions, and managing keyers, settings, and the digital video effects (DVE). It includes upstream and downstream keyers, advanced chroma keying, two linear/luma keyers, DVE transition keyers, pattern generators, and two color generators.
For media support, it offers fill and key image support for up to 20 stills in formats like PNG, TGA, BMP, JPEG, and TIFF. The SDI output ensures a minimum resolution of 1366 x 768 for stream monitoring and is compatible with the ATEM Software Control Panel via Ethernet for advanced control and configuration.
