Classic Marshall Vibe
The Marshall 1960BX is a 100-watt, 4×12″ straight guitar speaker cabinet that provides a classic, vintage Marshall tone, renowned for its midrange punch and dynamic response. It is loaded with four Celestion G12M-25 Greenback speakers and is widely used for classic rock ‘n’ roll.
Tone
The G12M Greenback speakers have a fast, snappy response that adds detail and dynamics to both clean and distorted playing.
Design
Its straight design offers focused, direct sound projection, which some users prefer for a tighter sound resonance compared to angled cabs. The retro-inspired grey checkered grille cloth and gold piping provide a vintage aesthetic.
Performance
The cabinet has less headroom, allowing the speakers to gently break up at higher volumes and add depth to overdriven tones. It is highly recommended for live performances and pairs well with 100W amplifier heads, such as the JTM45 or 1987x.
