Stereo Console-Grade Compression On Any Source
Like the original, BUS-COMP adds the “glue” that is so sought after in professional recordings. Critical features include the ability to remove unruly bass in compression via the HPF knob, engage transformers to add more analog color, and an A/B switch to hear the compressor’s impact on your work. These controls combined with a 100% analog signal path and premium components instantly upgrade your final mixes and stereo bus processing.
Easily A/B the compression applied from BUS-COMP by engaging the COMPRESSOR button.
The external sidechain input allows you to use the audio from a different source to determine when BUS-COMP applies compression. This is a powerful tool for many situations including De-essing, ducking vocals from backing tracks, and “gluing” bass guitar and kick drum tracks.
A/B the BUS-COMP signal path with transformers engaged for a thicker, more rich analog tone, or disengaged, for a clearer and more polished tone.
Easily remove unruly bass material from the compressor by engaging the high pass filter on BUS-COMP. This is especially helpful when you want to maintain low end dynamics or add depth to a resonant frequency in the lower midrange.
