Compatible with Control 2 software’s talkback capabilities
Apogee’s Control 2 software boasts powerful talkback capabilities, allowing you to communicate tips and feedback to your performers in the booth without leaving your control desk. For even greater convenience, add Apogee’s Control hardware into the mix to engage talkback with the click of a button — no toggling between Control 2 software and your DAW required! This feature is compatible with a variety of Apogee’s modern and legacy interfaces, automatically utilizing your computer’s built-in mic or USB mic to save the mic inputs on your interface.
Controls offered by the Apogee Control
The hardware remote offers a large encoder knob (as found on Symphony I/O), three encoder focus buttons and 8 user-assignable buttons. The three focus buttons and encoder allow quick adjustment of all analog inputs and outputs, while the 8 user-assignable buttons offer a wide variety of controls:
- Mute-Dim-Sum to Mono of any or all outputs
- Set Reference Speaker Level
- Toggle Speaker Sets (88 only)
- Engage Talkback
- Set Analog input parameters
